The New Owners

In the Spring of 2023, the Cape Neddick Lobster Pound was purchased by Via Maine, a local family owned restaurant management company.

Founded through the collaboration of Morey Highbarger, an international seafood distributor, and Ian Miller, an executive chef with decades of restaurant operations experience, the company began with Sea Salt Lobster—an international seafood distribution center and restaurant located in Saco, Maine.

Today, Via Maine operates 6 different Maine based restaurant brands including Pepper's Landing, Sea Salt Restaurant, The New England House, and Batson River.
